Adele Harwas
Adele comes from a family of dancers with a mother and two sisters who are also dance instructors. She has studied with masters such as Ron Daniels, Charles Kelly, Frank Hatchett, Gus Giordano and Judy Bassing. At age sixteen, Adele became a member of her sister's company, Dancezone Inc. and was a featured dancer in many of its performances.
Adele has been teaching at the Arts of the Dance Centre, owned by her mother, for the past fifteen years and was the director and choreographer for its performing company. She is a member of International Teachers of Dance Inc., for which she has taught and judged for. She is also a member of Dance Masters of America and graduated from its teacher training school in 1986. recently, Adele was the acrobatics teacher for the Florida Dance Masters scholarships auditions and previously judged the tap and jazz auditions. on nov.8, 1998, Adele taught a modern dance class at a dma workshop.
In 1998, Adele served as the jazz teacher for the Teen Arts Festival. For five consequetive years, she choreographed for the Miss Vineland and Miss Cumberland County scholarship pageants.
Adele has been recognized on many occasions for her talent as a dancer, teacher and choreographer.
