Kimberly Medio

 

Kimberly Medio has grown up at the Arts of the Dance Centre. She began dancing at the studio at the age of two. Her dance and performance training is extensive. At the age of 14, Miss Kimmy became a member of the dance company Dancezone. She danced with the company until its breakup in 1989.

In 1989, Miss Kimmy placed first for her category in the New Jersey Talent Expo. She also held the title of Junior Miss Talent for Atlantic County, among many others. Miss Kimmy attended classes at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia for dance education. She danced as the lead in " The Nutcracker " with the New Jersey Ballet Company.

One of Miss Kimmy's proudest dance accomplishments was performing as the lead in the Sight and Sound Entertainment Center in Lancaster, PA., the largest christian entertainment center in the United States.

Miss Kimmy has been a teacher at the studio for nine years. She attended Dance Masters of America's teachers training at Kent State. Most recently, Miss Kimmy attended the Tempo, Level, Energy and Shapes workshop in Deluth, Georgia.

Presently Miss Kimmy focuses all of her efforts on teaching dance to young children, but she makes plenty of time for the most important part of her life- her family. Miss kimmy is married and has a two year old son. She also does nails.

Another important part of her life involves youth ministry. She choreographs canatas and children's ministries for the Faith Bible Church Ministries in Vineland.

Miss Kimmy would like to thank her mom for working so hard as a single mother and all of her dance teachers for giving her so many oppotunities.
